Description:
The detached Victorian property was understood to have been built in the late 1880s and was converted from its previous life as a Country Club and Restaurant into a pub some 15 years ago. The present proprietors have been in residence for 11 years, during which time they have significantly refurbished the property and built a successful and popular business. The lawns, with seating for up to 100, lie on the sunny south side of the property. The house is also fronted by a large car park with additional car parking at the rear, where there is Cross House Cottage (not included in the title), which benefits from avehicular right of way over the rear drive. A major feature of this property is the very well appointed and comfortable owners accommodation, which the present proprietors have fitted out to a high standard.

THE BUSINESS

The trade peaks at approximately 10,000 per week in the summer and drops to around 3,000 at less busier times in
the winter. Coors and St Austell are the main suppliers and the barrelage is estimated to be in the region of 200 beer
barrels per annum. Good pub food is on offer with a selection of meat, game and fish dishes etc with specials every week. The menu ranges from snacks to a full meal.
