A stunningly pretty location at Selly Oak and only about 10 minutes walk from Bourneville (they of the chocolate!) or Selly Oak railway stations. There are two sections available. Please see the plan.
Section A has about 165ft. (50 metres) of canal frontage with direct road frontage for access. Section B has about 125ft. (38 metres) of canal frontage and access via a private road. We have a written legal right of way over this road. Both sites are heavily wooded with mature trees and you could not believe you are in the centre of Birmingham. The towpath on the opposite side of the canal is also very pretty. The land is slopes at about 45 degrees from the road down to the canal, so take great care if inspecting. Each section is priced at £3,000. There is no designation that we are aware of, so you must make your own enquiries as to what it may be used for. Clearly, it cannot be built upon.
For directions and inspection, which is at your own risk, please search on Google Earth or Multimap for B29 6HJ which is approximately at the junction with Raddlebarn Road and Raddlebarn Farm Drive. Section A starts here and runs down alongside Raddlebarn Farm Drive. Section B is accessed by the private road running between numbers 29 and 31 Raddlebarn Farm Drive. The southern boundary of section B is the old iron bridge that crosses the canal at an angle. Another reference point is B29 6UN, which is roughly at the bottom of the attached map.
