Bigadon Lodge occupies a corner plot of approximately 4.69 acres of pasture and amenity land with access through the gateway just north of the former lodge. The remains of the lodge, last used as a dwelling 50 years ago, are extremely dilapidated. Planning permission to restore the lodge and reinstate it as a residential dwelling was refused on application and was again dismissed on appeal in 2002.
