Description

Bramerton is a comparatively small and unspoilt village, situated on the edge of Broadland with part of the village, at Woods End, having a long frontage to the main stream of the River Yare.

This site extends to approximately 2.4 acres (0.97 hectares) and was formerly occupied by Granary and other agricultural buildings used in connection with the business of Herbert Parker Limited. These buildings have now been demolished and cleared from site, with the exception of one single building which will cleared very shortly.

The land is largely surrounded by fields, a small copse and some agricultural buildings and is set back from the road, being approached by a private roadway which also serves some existing barn conversions, which adjoin.

Planning

Full planning permission was granted by South Norfolk District Council under reference 2008/1014/F on 4th August 2009 for the demolition of the existing buildings, public weighbridge and hard standing and the erection of two new office workspaces and eight new sustainable live/work units. A copy of the planning consent is attached.

Also attached are plans prepared by Lucas Hickman Smith, Architects of Wymondham, showing the proposed plans of the buildings to be erected on site.
