PLANNING
The property is within the settlement boundary of Fremington and is shown as allocated within the North Devon Local Plan. The site has been identified for 21 dwellings together with associated works, formation of a new access and further contributions by way of a Section 106 agreement. A planning application was made in January 2011, reference no. 51477 and was refused on various grounds. An affordable provision of 38% was proposed. Adopted policy seeks a 50% provision and was therefore this proposal was contrary to Policy HSG7 . Further details are available upon request.
