DESCRIPTION
Bow Bridge House is a principally stone built house with particularly attractive elevations sitting in a prominent location close to Bow Bridge, Tuckenhay. OUTSIDE
Approached from the road by a white painted gate with tarmacadam drive with turning and parking to the rear of the house. There is a particularly attractive walled front garden with lawn, mature shrubs and bushes some of which conceal the LPG fuel tank. Beyond the wall is the river with the Listed Bow Bridge and a magnificent horse chestnut. The principal gardens lie to the west of the house and are bounded on its southern side by the River Harbourne. There are separate double gates giving access if required. Two fine examples of Weeping Willows and a well laid out garden with mature shrubs and plants. A further area of garden with a small bridge lead to your own private island and some dwarf stone walls.

THE COTTAGES
Cottages numbers 1 - 4 are a terrace of stone cottages under a slate roof all with dormer windows. Their accommodation is laid out on two storeys, living on the ground floor and bedrooms on the first floor (see attached plans). Number 1 with its entrance to the side has a tarmacadam parking area, numbers 2 and 3 are the central cottages, whilst number 4 has its own main entrance with an adjoining patio. The cottages were converted in 1976 from farm buildings; all windows were replaced around 1994 with uPVC, but with original timber doors. The kitchens in units 1, 2 and 4 have been replaced and there is a hot water system with lagged copper cylinder and immersion heater in each cottage.
