DIRECTIONS
From the A590, Newby Bridge to Ulverston Road, turn right at Greenodd and continue along the A5092, towards Lowick. Proceed up the hill to Gawthwaite and Lowick High Common. Just after the top of the hill, take the first right, signposted Woodland. At the end of the lane, turn right into the hamlet of Woodland. The entrance to Raisthwaite is just past the church on the right-hand side.
Alternatively, from the direction of Broughton-in-Furness, which is approximately four miles, follow the signs to Coniston. After the road junction to Broughton Mills, continue down the hill and take the first right. Turn immediately left and follow the lane around to Woodland, passing the village hall on the right-hand side. The entrance to Raisthwaite, is on the left when approaching the hamlet, just before the church.
