MANTON
Manton Village is located on the west side of Marlborough, a market town with many facilities. The heart of the village lies adjacent to the water meadows of the River Kennet. It has a very popular public house, one of the most sought after primary and pre-schools in the area and falls within the parish of St. George's, Preshute. The Marlborough Downs are criss-crossed with gallops such is the number of racing stables in the area, one of which is based at Manton House. Junction 15 of the M4 motorway is about 11 miles to the north and there is a railway station at Pewsey which is about 7 miles to the south to London Paddington, approx. 1 hour.

Next is the second bedroom, again a double, currently used as the home office which overlooks the rear garden and has a built in wardrobe.

Into the master bedroom, not a term I use often but for once it fits, this is a super sized room with patio doors opening out onto the garden and an extensive range of fitted wardrobes. Door right opens into a large ensuite bathroom with corner whirlpool bath, corner shower enclosure, toilet, wash basin and bidet(for those dirty feet, I believe!) OK back to the sitting room and we will walk out into the garden.
OUTSIDE
Stepping out onto a good sized patio area with steps up to the garden, path to the side leading to the conservatory. The garden slopes up and is mainly laid to lawn, backing onto open fields with mature hedging and fences to the sides. Greenhouse. It is really worth going to the top of the garden to see the outstanding views across the Kennet Valley.
PARKING & DOUBLE GARAGE
There is no restriction to parking in Manton Close, however the road is narrow and residents tend to park either on their own parking spaces or directly outside their own properties. Sandhills however has a detached double garage that, we have been informed, has been constructed to allow(subject to usual permissions) an extension over which would provide further accommodation to enlarge the bungalow if required.
The double garage has two up and over doors and apex storage.
