OUTSIDE
Approached via it's own private driveway there is parking for at least three/four vehicles. There would be plenty of space to erect a garage if required and subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents.
Surrounding the barn on three sides, the gardens are laid mainly to lawn with well-stocked flowerbeds, and on the west there are natural stone walls full of wild flowers. In addition the hedgerows on the north and east have plenty of natural vegetation including dog roses, elder and honeysuckle. Situated on the western side of the property, with natural stone walling on the three sides, is a terrace, which is accessed from the dining hall within the main house, as well as from the garden and takes full advantage of the sunshine, perfect for alfresco dining. The exterior lighting colour washes the barn walls in the evening.
From the minor Council highway to the south of the property a metalled driveway leads due north with a parallel grass driveway leading into the property for livestock/farm machinery to be able to access the land. The driveway terminates in a car parking area for three/four cars. There is plenty of space for the erection of garaging/stabling/workshop (subject to planning consent). Services are also connected to this area and the bunded oil tank is located here. From the car parking area an Indian stone pathway leads from the south of the garden around to the east providing access to the front door.

The property is situated in the centre of approximately 5.8 acres of pasture and woodland, boarded to the north by a natural stream. The land is suitable for livestock grazing, including horses, cattle and sheep or alternatively, it would be possible to rent out the land with the use of the parallel access track. For those seeking an equestrian property, this property could easily be adapted, with plenty of quiet country lanes for hacking, and ample room to erect stables (subject to obtaining the necessary planning permission).
