Of rendered cob and stone walls beneath a slate tiled roof, the property is Listed and enjoys a wealth of period features and character including lovely plank and muntin screen, granite fireplace with bread oven, two staircases and much exposed timberwork. There are wooden brace and ledge doors inside, and the quirky accommodation has many individually shaped rooms.
The wooden front door leads to a dining hallway with original plank and muntin screen, storage cupboards and door into the sitting room. This has a wonderful feature Dartmoor granite fireplace with inset wood burner and large bread oven. There are two staircases to the rooms upstairs as well as a window seat. The kitchen/breakfast room has a range of modern fitted eye and base level units, inset sink, electric oven under an electric hob with fan over and ample space for appliances, as well as dining table and chairs. It also has a tiled floor and stable door to the rear garden.
On the first floor the two bedrooms, each accessed via separate staircases are good sized doubles, again with some exposed woodwork. The family bathroom has a modern three piece white suite comprising panelled bath with shower over, pedestal wash basin and wc.
OUTSIDE

DIRECTIONAL NOTE
From Exeter proceed on the B3212 towards Moretonhampstead passing through the village of Longdown. After a few miles, at Farrants Cross, turn left onto the B3193 signposted Christow, Chudleigh and Bridford. Proceed to the T-junction and turn left onto the Teign Valley Road. Continue for approximately 2 miles and take the 2nd right hand turn signposted Christow. Proceed up the hill into the village and the property can be found on the right after a short distance among a row of period properties.
