Nothing nicer than the kids coming in with there buckets and spades from the beach.although there is no offical bedroom, this is a scottish 'room and kitchen' the lounge has sofa beds and so does the kitchen, so we've never found space an issue. I like how the flat has retained some of its original features, but have a good size kitchen to work in. The island of cumbrae is 11mis in circumference with no traffic lights. Beautiful sunsets, and in the winter seals can be found on the small islands off shore.wonderful place for anyone who loves sailing and the town has a lovely community feel to it too
