the cottage is located in an area of polperro which has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, thus preserving the charm that polperro is renowned for. There is a school, post office, newsagent, chemist, doctor's surgery, bakery, supermarket, off licence, gift shops, pubs and restaurants all within a ten minute walk of the cottage. Liskeard is a twenty minute drive away, and the city of plymouth is a 40 minute drive. The nearest railway station is looe, which is a branch line from liskeard, and bus services also keep the village very accessible.
